And now for Kevin’s Wake Spot Of The Week …
Hexagon Wake Park in Benson, North Carolina, is a cable paradise! The second stop of the WWA Wake Park Triple Crown (this week!!) features two full size systems – one clockwise and one counter-clockwise – plus a Sesitec 2.0.
A huge array of rails and kickers make for an awesome day of riding. Wakeboard, wakeskate or hang-out on the white sandy beach and swim in crystal-clear Tucker Lake between rides. Riders of all ages welcome. Instruction, camps, kids clubs … even a mini-shredders club for kids 3-5!
And now for Kevin’s Wake Spot Of The Week … international edition …
Visit WakeScout and you’ll find there are plenty of opportunities to get on the water if you’re visiting any Nordic country: Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. One of the best is The Cable Park in Stockholm, Sweden.
The Cable Park is a Liquid Force test center, and they have all the LF equipment you’ll need for a day of riding. The cable is 623 meters long, five pylon, anti-clockwise. There are nine obstacles, including a Funbox, sliders, three kickers and a pipe-rail.
And get this: Sunset is at almost 10 p.m. these days so there is plenty of time for riding.
One of the great things about being part of WakeScout is learning about new places to get on the water to wakeboard, waterski, wakesurf, wakeskate … whatever your passion.
Whether notified by water sport entities that send in requests to be listed from all over the world, a recommendation from someone in the WakeScout community or simply a place we discover in a magazine or news article, each new listing helps achieve our goal to provide the water sport community with more and more places to get on the water.
We recently reached another milestone- we now have over 1,300 places to get on the water listed on WakeScout.
