Driving Me Crazy: Road Trip With The Players

Kevin Sutton Show

So we officially hit the road with The Players – that’s the Kevin Sutton Show crew in case you are just tuning in – for our first road trip. Imagine it, Kevin Sutton, the CWB, Gian Foo (shown in the pic above), Faithy Fun Time and myself. All of us in a car driving to Miami and Lake Worth.

We tried for an 8:30 a.m. start, but of course that means 9:30 a.m. in real time. Then, of course, we had to get breakfast, which finally made us get on the road around 10 a.m. Oh, and let us not forget the pit stops … Gian Foo has a smaller bladder than Faithy Fun Time.

We sang lots of songs from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s and from the new Muppets movie album …

Am I a man or am I a Muppet?

When we finally got to Miami, we put on the infamous Will Smith jam “Welcome to Miami,” and sure enough, Kevin got cussed out by a 80-year old woman.

While we were there we ate – a lot – at a traditional Cuban restaurant, then we went to the beach and tested out the DryCASE (yes it worked).

After all the chaos in Miami, we headed to the Hurricane Grill & Wings event in Lake Worth. We ran into a lot of great people, including Ron from DonkBoard, Jim from Hurricane Grill, and many, many members of our action sports family.

Landon Swan! Joshua James! Logan Hayes! Even … Jarrod Waters!

Exhausted, we got back to Orlando around midnight. Faithy Fun Time fell asleep on the way home. Gian Foo still needed to use the bathroom every 15 minutes (why couldn’t he have fallen asleep?). Chris (CWB) was, well, hungry. And Kevin was … just … Kevin.

Need I say more?
