Twin Potato Jumpers

Kevin Sutton Show

And now for the Kevin Sutton Show Picture Of The Week …

This photo was taken by Chadh who witnessed this BASE jump first hand (it was his first time watching). This bridge is located in Twin Falls, Idaho, and is the only man-made structure in the United States Where BASE jumping is legal year round without a permit.

Dubbed Potato Bridge, the bridge is actually named Perrine Bridge. Per Wikipedia, this bridge is approximately 1,500 feet long and 486 feet above the Snake River.

Chadh’s notes: “View large for a closer look. BASE jumper labeled “one” has just thrown out his parachute, still yet to deploy. You can also see these jumpers just moments later.”

This photo was taken on November 3, 2007, using a Canon EOS 40D.

Thanks to Chadh and be sure to visit his Flickr page (click on his name above) for more amazing shots!
